Hello Friends,
It's been a really long time since my last shop update and I know that there have been many questions regarding in-person shopping. We had to let our lease go back in the summer of 2020. We are hoping to open another store-front soon, but the restrictions in California and San Diego are still uncertain for us, so we are choosing to wait a little longer before making a commitment into any address. Meanwhile, we are renting a small detached-cottage-studio in a quiet residential area outside of city limits and are unable to accommodate the traffic of physical shopping. I miss chatting with my brick and mortar customers so much!
For those of you who have shopped in our store-front, you have seen our many unique odds and ends, notions, as well as beautiful handmade items from various local artisans. I have resisted in listing these items onto our online shop because of the tedious nature of listing one-of-a-kind items as well as my optimism that we would have a new store-front by now, but seeing that we are still online only for a bit, I have decided that it's time to start working on these listings.
You can now find organic artisan products under our new "Handmade Gifts" tab in the menu. These are great options for gifts in a time crunch as well as for our customers who buy fabric but do not sew. All products here are artisan crafted and American made! The featured photo is a beautiful necklace by Pax Organics for Baby available in our shop.
It's been a difficult year and a half for small business owners all over as many of us were affected as early as January. It's been challenging to stay positive at many times, but I'm so grateful for your continued support and patronage. Keep an eye out on Instagram for a new giveaway coming soon!
