What size cuts do you offer?
Online, our smallest cuts are by the quarter yard or by the fat quarter.  Our standard listings are sold by the 1/2 yard.  All yardage is cut continuously*, so if you need 2.5 yards you would add 5 quantities of "1/2 yard" .  This would give you one single continuous cut of that fabric.  Fat quarters are always cut into fat quarter cuts.  Ordering 2 quantities of the same fat quarter will give you two individual fat quarter cuts. *Ends of bolts are separate cuts and will not come continuous if multiple pieces of the same print are available.

What are your different cut sizes?
Unless noted, most of our fabric is 43/44" wide.  Our cuts are as follows:

  • Fat Quarter - 18" x 22"
  • 1/4 Yard - 9" x 44"
  • 1/2 Yard - 18" x 44"
  • 1 Yard - 36" x 44"

I heard that you offer free shipping.  Is that true?
Yes!  Domestic (USA) orders $99+ ship free to USA addresses.  International customers get a $5 discount at the same threshold, use code: INT49.   All other orders ship as inexpensively as possible while taking the shipping time into consideration unless you specify otherwise. 

What does domestic shipping cost if I do not hit the free shipping threshold?
For most orders, our shipping costs are very simple.  Orders under a pound ship for $6.99 while orders one pound or over ship for $8.99. 

Which fabrics are excluded from free domestic shipping?
None!

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes!  Everywhere in the world!
CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: Flat rate shipping of $29.99 is available on cotton print fabric. Approximately 10 yards of quilting cotton will ship for $29.99.  International shipping overages will be refunded at the time of shipping.

Can I get a fabric sample?
We are currently unable to send out samples.  Sorry.

How quickly do you ship out orders?
We seek to ship out your order as soon as possible!  As our shop grows, orders have grown and order sizes have increased.  We are currently shipping Monday through Saturday with approximately 2-5 days processing time. 

Can I pick-up locally?
We are currently unable to offer local pick-up.

What type of fabric should I use for my project?
Often times, fabric choice is really a matter of preference, but we can give you some suggestions and assistance in choosing fabric. 

I'd like to order large quantities of fabric.  Do you offer any discounts?

Join our rewards program!  The more you shop, the more you save!  We also offer a wholesale program.

I'm in Utah and have a seller's permit, do I still need to pay tax for items I'm purchasing for my business?
Just e-mail us a copy of your seller's permit and we can set you up with a vendor account, making your purchases exempt from sales tax.  It is your responsibility to pay applicable taxes to the state of Utah and let us know if your tax status changes.

Is your fabric certified organic?
Yes.  All of our fabric is certified GOTS, Oeko-Tex, OCS, or similarly organic certified which covers not only the cotton but also the inks and labor practices in manufacturing.  Hemp fabric is SBP certified and the cotton blended in it is GOTS certified organic.  We do not carry any fabric that is not organic.  Also, we do not carry any fabric blended with polyester, rayon, or bamboo.

Can I get a copy of the organic certification for your fabric?
Of course!  It is always easiest to get the certifications directly from the appropriate manufacturer, however you can also leave us a note when you make your order and we will send you the appropriate certificates via email asap.  

How do you ship out orders?  Do you use eco-friendly/sustainable materials?
This is SO important to us!  We pride ourselves in the use of upcycled materials and minimalist packaging when/where ever possible.  This is a lot of extra work for us, but it is so important to our business model!  Any new materials used are responsibly sourced from natural materials and biodegradable/compostable when possible.  Everything we use is recyclable. 

What is your return policy?
All fabric is cut-to-order. To keep our prices competitive and to ensure returns are not re-sold, we are unable to accept returns unless we have made a mistake on the order.  Should we make a mistake on a cut, please contact us immediately to resolve the issue.  Please note that different computer screens will display colors differently.  Our photos are as accurate as possible, but variation can occur.  We do not accept cancellations of orders.  We cannot make policy exceptions.

Where is my order?
All fabric is cut-to-order and processed in the order received with the exception of Express upgrades, those are always prioritized.  Tracking information is sent to you through email once your order ships.  We are not responsible for packages once they leave our hands and have an initial scan from the post office.  If your package is delayed, calling the main USPS or UPS phone line is the best resolution.  If you received a delivery notice but cannot find your package, please first double check your mail-box, check around your home (patio, side of house) and wait a day to see if a neighbor brings it over.  If you still cannot find it, call or visit your local post-office to see if they are holding it or re-routing it for some reason.  If you file a claim with the postal carrier, please let us know if they need any information from us.  Sometimes scans are missed.  If you package has not been scanned in over a week, please call the mail USPS phone line and start a claim.  This will generally get your package back on track.
