Three Eco-Friendly Kitchen Swaps (that you can sew-up today!)

Three Eco-Friendly Kitchen Swaps (that you can sew-up today!)

Here are three handmade sewn cotton eco-swaps that you can use in the kitchen.  The best part is, you can sew them today!

1. Reusable Produce Bags: Instead of using plastic bags to store and transport fruits and vegetables, you can use handmade sewn cotton produce bags. These bags can be washed and reused multiple times and are great for reducing waste in the kitchen.

2. Unpaper Towels: Instead of using paper towels, you can use handmade sewn cotton unpaper towels. These can be used for cleaning up spills, wiping down surfaces, and any other tasks that you would normally use paper towels for. They can be washed and reused many times, making them a great eco-friendly swap for your kitchen.

3. Dish Scrubbers: Instead of using synthetic dish scrubbers, you can use handmade sewn cotton dish scrubbers.  If you'd like a scrubby side, you can use burlap from bulk grain burlap bags. These can be used to scrub dishes and surfaces, and can be washed and reused multiple times. They are a great alternative to plastic dish scrubbers and are much better for the environment.
